Original question

He was asked about a man who transferred ownership of property to his daughter. She then died leaving her father and her child. May he take back what he had registered for her?

Answer

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Property that the daughter fully owned and had received into her possession passes to her heirs when she dies. Her father receives one-sixth and her son receives the remainder if she has no [other] heir. By agreement, he may not take back after her death what he had transferred to her ownership.
