Selected explanation

As for the three questions, which were their principal arguments and which they raised against our statement: “Included in what we have mentioned concerning faith in Allah is faith in what Allah has related in His Book, what has been transmitted through numerous independent chains from the Messenger of Allah, and what the early generations of the community agreed upon: that He, Glorified is He, is above His heavens, over His Throne, exalted above His creation; and He is with them wherever they are, knowing what they do.” He combined these matters in His statement, Exalted is He: “He is the One who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then rose over the Throne. He knows what enters the earth and what emerges from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends into it. He is with you wherever you are, and Allah sees what you do.”
