ومما يروون: "سب أصحابي ذنب لا يغفر".

Original question

Among the reports they circulate is: “Insulting my Companions is a sin that will not be forgiven.”

Answer

This is a lie attributed to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Allah, exalted, has said: “Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whomever He wills” [al-Nisāʾ 4:48].
