Original question

He, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about a woman of sound judgment who died leaving a father, mother and husband. Her father took the clothing and furnishings and gave the heirs nothing.

Answer

This is not accepted from him. Whatever wealth was in her possession belongs to her and passes to her heirs. If he bought it and furnished her with it in the customary manner of marriage preparations, that constituted a transfer of ownership to her. He therefore has no right to reclaim it after her death.
