Original question
He, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about a woman who gave her husband what was recorded in her marriage document. She had no father, only brothers. May they prevent her from doing this?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Her brothers have no guardianship over her property and no right to restrict her disposal of it. If she is legally competent to make gifts from her property, her gift is valid whether they approve or not. Allah knows best.
