Original question

A group of us went into the countryside and sat beside a pool of water. The water was muddy and contained some vegetation. May this water be used for wudu for prayer?

Answer

Performing wudu with water like this, bathing with it, and drinking it are permissible, because it retains the name of water. It therefore remains purifying; the soil and vegetation that have fallen into it do not remove its purifying character.

Allah is the One who grants success.
