Original question
A man recites Quran but cannot perform wudu at every time. May he write it on a board and read it, whether or not he has wudu? Some Malikis said that “None touch it except the purified” concerns purification of the heart and that the believer does not become impure. Some Shafiis said he may never touch the board or mushaf without wudu. Is there disagreement among the imams?
Answer
Praise be to Allah. If he reads from the mushaf or board without touching it, that is permissible even without purification. He may also write on the board without wudu. Allah knows best.
