Original question

What is the ruling on taking a small amount from the beard?

Answer

It is obligatory to leave it to grow and not interfere with it, because the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Trim the moustaches and let the beards grow; differ from the polytheists,’ and, ‘Trim the moustaches and let the beards grow; differ from the Magians.’ A small amount leads to a large amount. What is obligatory is to leave it and let it grow, and to be wary of cutting it.

Presenter: May Allah reward you and grant you good.
