Original question

Esteemed Shaykh, what invalidates prayer, even if stated in summary?

Answer

The things that invalidate prayer fall into two categories: omitting what is required in it, or doing what is prohibited in it.

As for omitting what is required, examples include deliberately omitting a pillar of prayer, deliberately omitting one of its conditions, or deliberately omitting an obligatory action.

An example of omitting a pillar is deliberately omitting bowing during the prayer.

An example of omitting a condition is deliberately turning away from the qiblah during the prayer.

An example of omitting an obligatory action is deliberately omitting the first tashahhud. If someone deliberately omits anything required in the prayer, his prayer is invalid, whether that requirement is called a condition, a pillar, or an obligatory action.

The second category of things that invalidate prayer is doing something prohibited in it, such as breaking his state of ritual purity during prayer, speaking ordinary human speech, laughing, or similar things that are prohibited during prayer. If he does them deliberately, his prayer is invalid in that case.
