وَاَللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى إنَّمَا خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ لِعِبَادَتِهِ لِيَذْكُرُوهُ وَيَشْكُرُوهُ وَيَعْبُدُوهُ وَأَرْسَلَ الرُّسُلَ وَأَنْزَلَ الْكُتُبَ لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ وَلِيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ وَلِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا كَمَا أَرْسَلَ كُلَّ رَسُولٍ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ. قَالَ تَعَالَى {وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إلَّا نُوحِي إلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدُونِ} وَقَالَ تَعَالَى {وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَنِ آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ} . وَقَدْ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلَ كُلَّهُمْ بِهَذَا وَأَنْ لَا يَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ.

Selected explanation
Allah, Glorified and Exalted, created creation only for His worship: that they should remember Him, thank Him, and worship Him. He sent the messengers and revealed the books so that they should worship Allah alone, so that all religion should be for Allah, and so that the word of Allah should be supreme, just as He sent every messenger with this. He, Exalted is He, said: “We did not send any messenger before you except that We revealed to him: There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.” He also said: “Ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before you: Did We appoint deities besides the Most Merciful to be worshipped?” Allah commanded all the messengers to do this and not to divide concerning it.
